DRIVIN' TUNES REVIEWS

Brian Winters of Kingman Arizona's "Super Country" KGMN Says: You gotta love "good sax" in the morning. And this tune has it and a whole lot more. Nic's vocals compliment Kid's playing and the song takes you back to when we all had a car like that (or still do). Fun to play and even more fun to see "LIVE"

Dusty Baker of KYTE FM Radio of Newport Oregon says: "Drivin Tunes! What a fun cd not only for the road but for anytime you can use a lift! Kid and Nic's treatment of Bobby Troup's 1946 classic "ROUTE 66" is destined to be classic of it's own. Light, playful attitude, great musicianship and wonderfully executed vocals all add up to FUN! FUN! FUN! Drivin Tunes is a WINNER!"

Rome Hamel of the Rock N Rome Show on KRVM 91.9FM Eugene Oregon Says: "Kid and Nic do a kick butt version of Who Would Love This Car But Me? They add a lot of spice to this song!! Their entire CD "Drivin Tunes" was featured on my show last month. I got plenty of calls saying how much the listeners liked them!!"

Rob Mullen, Music Director at KUSP in Santa Cruz Ca. Says: FOR A RADIO STATION LIKE KUSP THAT FEATURES A VARITY OF MUSIC KID & NIC’S COLLECTION OF ‘DRIVIN’ TUNES’ FITS RIGHT IN. THE SWING, ROCK N ROLL & BLUESY SOUNDS KEEPS US ALL MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’, A DRIVING SONG SET WITHOUT EVER HITTING THE ROAD.

Duane “Triple D” Davis On air personality at Mix 99.3 FM in Redding Ca. Says:
“Kid and Nic on Mix 99.3!” is a phrase I didn’t expect to be saying on the air. Who were Kid and Nic? And why were so many people calling the station to request them? So, I made a few phone calls and found that they were playing at one of Redding’s hot spots for live music called “the Post Office”. After five minutes of Kid and Nic’s performance I knew why I had gotten the phone calls that week…they were spectacular! To say Kid and Nic put on a good show would be a huge understatement. Their music was a cross between “Big Band”, Jazz, Blues, Ska and everything else in between. A style they call “Martini Music” which is an appropriate term. They are very accomplished musicians with one of the best live shows I have ever seen. No body is safe to just sit back and watch the show from their seats, for Kid and Nic always find a way to get everyone involved. But Mix 99.3 is a CHR station. Why So much Buzz for Kid and Nic? Just attend one of their shows and you will soon see that the audience is made up of all ages! Kid and Nic truly is an act that appeals to every one. I decided to try out Kid and Nic on the air during our all request show at 7:00 PM. “Who Would Love This Car But Me?" off of the new album “Drivin’ Tunes” was an instant favorite among our listeners. Since that time I have had at least five requests per hour for Kid and Nic! There is no doubt that the power of their live show had created an instant demand for radio airplay, and once the listeners got it…they kept coming back for more!

LIVE SHOW REVIEWS

"They are very interactive with their audiences and can be comical at times, showing their love and energy for performing."  Chris Cady - Black Hills Arts Anchor (Rapid City, South Dakota)

"Kirk and Nicole are high energy performers. You can't avoid tapping your  toes and smiling when you see their show. You'll be guaranteed to be in a good mood by the end of the night. Kirk and Nicole play off each others antics, delighting the crowd all night. I've never heard a sax player any  better than Kirk, and Nicole can belt out a song just like Janis Joplin or  Bette Midler. My favorite song was "Ring of Fire" done with just a  touch of humor that had me rolling in the isle... Great Fun!" Larry Williams KLKS 104.3 FM (K-Lakes Radio) Breezy Point, Minnesota

"Surprisingly, the "show" is only a five-piece band.  It delivers a sound so full you would think it was a big band"  -David Steinberg from The Albuquerque Journal

"There guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your fingers snapping!"
-Point Magazine, Jackson Mississippi

"Bouncing off each others energy, lead singer Nicole (Nic) and vocalist/saxophonist Kirk (Kid) Tracy definitely put the fun back into dance music."
-Las Vegas Entertainment Today Magazine

"The Kid & Nic Show is one such act that possesses that groovy little edge that gives it not only a sound worth listening to but a chemistry that translates to the audience."
